WEIDU Mods on Steam Deck

Does anyone have any experience with modding BG:EE and BG2:EE on the steam deck?

Would the best way to go about this be to copy over a fully modded install from my Windows PC onto the deck itself? Would that even work?

    I figured it out on my own. You can, in fact, mod your game on PC and simply copy over your entire BG or BG2 directory on the steam deck, and it plays perfectly modded.

    Just to verify what you did, copy the whole bgee directory in the steam folder in windows then move it to the steam folder on the steamos?

    yes but i found you had to run it with forced compatability set to Proton 7.0-6

    Way proton 7.0-6?

    And did you get invalid numer on items, spells and dialogs?
