I have a problem with the Steam version of this game.

in Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition
I baught this and tried to play it yesterday for the first time, but i have a problem, the options menu dosent work, it softlocks and crashes my game everytime i try to open it both from the main menu or in game. I am new with PC games, so please can sombody help me?
