How does Longarm's damage system work?

DhariusDharius Member Posts: 664
So there's this magical longbow called Longarm in the OCs that provides extra damage which is bludgeoning. But of course arrows are piercing.

So I was wondering how the two types of damage are implemented in the game using this weapon? (The same question goes for any weapon with two damage types, or rather has the "Extra Damage Type" property). Thanks!

Longarm's properties add +2 to strength, +2 to attack and do both piercing and bludgeoning damage.

This means it will hit a skeleton with normal damage because it overcomes their immunities.

A morning star works similar also doing both bludgeoning and piercing damage.

Weird that Longarm doesn't also have the "Mighty" ability too, as the Strength bonus has very little use apart from increasing some skills and carrying capacity, but there we are...
