BG2:EE started crashing on exit this weekend

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I received a significant Win11 update late last week and since then BG2 always hangs/crashes on exit 100% of the time. Wondering if anyone else gets it, it's annoying to have to stare at the dead app with no access to other apps until the system realizes it's stuck and gives you the crash dialog to kill it.

    I have the same issue. It seems to be an issue with GOG Galaxy.

    KB5037853 seems to be the one. I uninstalled that and things work again.
