NWN:EE - multiplayer cdkeys

I recently bought a code off of g2a to play with a group of friends. Whenever I click on multiplayer the game just says that it is "attempting to recover your multiplayer CD key. Receipt received. Verifying purchase." with my only option being to cancel. I have made sure the game has exceptions on anticheat as well as reinstalled it, verified the game files, and tried multiple betas to generate the CD key. Nothing has worked and I would just like to play with my friends
