Transfer items from BG 2 to BG 1

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Is it possible to transfer items from Baldurs gate 2 to baldurs gate 1 ( enhanced editions) using eekeeper? I found I can export an item but it then doesnt find it in the other game even in the override folder.

    While you could copy the ITM resource over and put it in the override folder, that's not all it would take for an item to show up properly. You'd also need the other stuff referred to in the file - pictures, name text, description text, and sometimes even more.
    The text, in particular ... I wouldn't touch that even with a more powerful editor like Near Infinity.
