NWN: EE and 1.69

Does having both version on the same computer cause conflicts with files etc.

    No.

    You have a choice:
    • By default, 1.69 user files are held in the nwn installation folder, whereas EE user files are held in documents. This means, for example, that if both games need a hak, you have to create a copy in both folders. The advantage is that one game can't interfere with the other.
    • Optionally, you can redirect EE to use selected 1.69 folders by changing the path in nwn.ini. This may make sense for e.g. haks which are not changed by either game, reducing duplication. Probably not a good choice for modules or saves, as EE stuff won't run in 1.69.
