New Characters - where to find them

I tend to gather my team at the very early stage of the game and then continue playing them without any changes. Therefore I'd like to add new NPCs as soon as possible to try them out and enjoy new features.
Any clues on where to find them?

    They're at: Friendly Arm Inn, Beregost and Nashkel.

    you meet dorn at the friendly arm inn at first. he will brush you off, and then come to your aid as you are approaching the nashkel mines. he doesn't like 'good' people though....
