Blazing Glory +3

Hello,
it has happened to me several times that Mizhena did not give me the Blazing Glory after freeing Urold. She just said: "The Lord of Battles smiles upon us! Forward, to victory!" That's it. I do not know what i am doing wrong.

If you're getting that, the "bd_mizhenas_father_quest" variable hasn't been set. In other words, you haven't talked to Mizhena and gotten the quest. You need to get the quest before you can get the reward, even if you've already done the actions the quest would ask for.

First, do Mizhena's other quest and retrieve her amulet. Then she'll trust you enough to ask you to save her father. At which point, if you've already done so, you can tell her about it in the same conversation.

That's strange. I returned the amulet to her but she never asked me to save her father. I didn't have that option in the dialogue.

Looking again ... it's not the amulet quest specifically, though that is required. Talking to her about "acceptance" is what actually sets the "bd_mizhena_is_friend" variable needed for the later quest to rescue her father.

I just read the guide on Baldur's Gate Wiki. It looks like i should talk to Mizhena after the battle on Dragonspear courtyard or probably after i defeated Ashatiel. I'll try it again. Now I'm playing a different character, getting close to Underground River. Anyway, thank you for the advice.
