NWN EE doesn't start

I recently bought NWN EE on Steam but whenever I click the play button nothing shows up. It seems like the game starts because I can see it in task manager but it doesn't appear on my screen

    Check your task bar. I have a minor windows problem with game launchers in that instead of launching full screen, games launch minimized. This only happens once after windows is launched. After clicking on the game in the task bar, everything is fine for that windows 10 session.

    If it's not that, can you launch the game directly? i.e. By double clicking on it wherever steam has put it.
