Glitch with Unseeing Eye

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I went to start the Unseeing Eye quest but whenever I do the Morning Lord just repeats his dialogue from outside the temple and leaves the temple only to return to the exact same spot. I'm unable to complete the quest. Any ideas of fixing this glitch?
