Enhanced Edition Unity/Consistancy? Would EET be my best option?

Good day! I have all of the EE titles in my library and I'm hoping to play through all of the various titles. The "problem" that I'm having is entirely of my own making, but I'm seeing a lot of things that aren't consistant at all, even within the Baldur's Gate Saga. I'm wanting to keep my first complete run as "vanilla" as possible, but I'm also hoping that it might be reasonably possible to have things things flow in a consistant manner. I haven't explored too deeply into modding yet, but EET is looking like it might be my best option. This is likely a long shot, but is there anything similar that I might be missing that would "patch" all of the EE titles to use their most current version of the Infinity engine?

    What do you mean precisely by that ?

    All EE games use the most current version of the Infinity Engine, 2.6.6.
    EET is for playing BGEE content in BG2EE in one big game.

    What exactly are you expecting to fix ?

    @Trouveur

    Thank you for the reply and details! What I was meaning is that I was under the impression that all of the EE titles work entirely differently and independently from each other. It's been a good while, but I had thought that there were a lot of smaller differences, even within the Baldur's Gate Saga. NPC stats being different, just as an example. I'm aware of mods that "fix" a number of these things, such as Tweaks, but I certainly wasn't aware of all of the EE titles using the exact same engine and patch version. I had thought that Icewind Dale and Planescape Torment, at least, had several actual mechanics that had to use different versions of the Infinity engine. EET sounds exactly what I'm looking for, so far as running through the entire Baldur's Gate Saga, at least.
