NWN:EE will not launch

I have an error message when launching NWN:EE that says

"NWN was unable to write to the directory:
C:\users\anon\OneDrive\Documents\NWN

Please make sure that NWN has been given the appropriate permissions on your OS and anti-virus software in order to access the above user directory. NWN cannot run without access to this user directory."

I gave it all the permissions that I could and even turned off my anti-virus to test it out. I still can't launch the game. Someone help!

    At a guess the problem is that it is trying to write to the cloud and not a physical drive - C:\users\anon\OneDrive. As I don't use OneDrive, I have no idea how to correct this.

    This is off Steam, so I never specified a path when I downloaded it unlike the good old CD days. You think maybe if I set a different default install path in Steam that it would work?

    Update! I did everything that it says up top and changed the path to

    -UserDirectory "C:\Games\NWN"

    And it boots up just fine. The cloud must be the default save that Steam loads it to.
