Keeping Yoshimo bug

I just reinstalled BG2EE (modded) but can't install this latest mod (from github) due to parse error, fell back to 0.87 or 0.88 but when i got to spellhold yoshimo leaves my party.. the brynnlaw dialogue doesn't trigger.
I recall it worked for me back in 2014 or so , not sure if it's being caused by the latest patch as i updated my game in steam.
Can anyone help? I've deleted my save games and will need to start a new run.
If i start a new tob game, i can summon yoshimo from the fate spirit.
