Help me choose what to play

Hello,

I just cannot decide what to play!
Currently I am playing an Avenger Druid, level 4. He is by far the weakest link in my party so that feels kind of boring. I know it will get better later, but still..

Any tips are welcome, please share what has been an enjoyable class and play-through for you. If you are going to list a dual / multi class, please give some more detailed examples of when and how, I am not to familiar with that.

I had a ton of fun with this game back in the day, but BG2 has spoiled a lot of the fun of BG1 for me, I guess that is familiar for some of you.
