They are all bad IMHO, with narrow corridors. At least mines have some big rooms.
They really found out the good receipt for dungeon with ToSC and Durlag's Tower.

I have always liked the catacombs underneath Candlekeep. Multiple areas, new layouts, single and groups of enemies, traps, etc. I think it is a challenging area and also ramps up the story quite a bit.

My second place from this list would be the various caves, as the monsters and treasures are varied and therefore more interesting.

I like the idea of the Undercity and Thieves' Guild maze, but I am usually wanting to wrap it up by that point and try to move fast.

I agree with @Trouveur . To me the pinnacle of BG 1 dungeon design is Durlag's Tower. It is very fun every single time. But that is not a minor dungeon so not part of this poll of course :)

Agreed with the Candlekeep dungeon, it also does a very good job of doing some environmental storytelling. It adds a great deal of depth to your character's background and the characters from the prologue, hinting at a rich history of the place. As well as adding some details about your main antagonist. I love that it's somewhat non-linear as well. You can speedrun out of the dungeon in very short order, but you'll obviously skip some excellent item pickups.

I actually think the Ice Island maze is quite good too, and it'd be my #2 choice here. Yes, it has narrow passages and a dull background. But the handful of combat encounters in it are extremely well designed, can often be unpredictable too. It holds up well as a dungeon on multiple replays. And it actually uses the narrow passages as part of the design and challenge, i.e. you can't just expect to be perfectly positioned at the start of each fight. You don't feel safe for a single moment in this dungeon, and that's how it should be.

The mine dungeons have their good moments, but I simply think they're too large for their own good, they often feel like they could have used one more round of iteration to be better, paring down some of the filler-esque parts.
