Remove Stoneskin grey visual effect?

Hi thanks for clicking.
I've been looking around in Near Infinity to remove the grey visual effect that gets applied to your character after casting Stoneskin.
The 3D animation is fine but I want the perma-grey to just not show. Everything else should be the same of course, including the helping icon on the portrait so that you know it's protecting your character.
Seems to me that it's, in Near Infinity, under the SPL folder and then the spell itself is SPWI408.SPL - Stoneskin.
There are from 0 and to 7 Spell ability that each looks pretty much the same, and each of these has from 0 and to 3 Effects.
Effect 3 has Type: Creature RGB color fade [....] which I assumed was the grey color change on the character after casting the spell. I've tried to remove that, Effect 3, But nothing changes in game.
Would appreciate immensely any help on this.
Also I probably should add that I installed some things from the SCS mod install.
Huge thanks if you can help out! / h

The color is hardcoded as part of the effect, so you need either an engine hack like the one provided here or EEEx and some additional hoops.
Thank you so much GraionDilach!
