Advice on order of installing mods (heavy moded BG:EE)

Hi, I want Your advice regarding the order of installing mods.

I like to play solo (mage/thief) sometimes with friend (kensai/mage or something equally overpowered as that). So I need heavy moding making the game more difficult. Also looking for new quests without to much overpowered items.

I don’t like Gray Clan or NToTSC/DSoTSC, so they’re not on my list.

- picking mods that doesn’t fit
- point out some mods that could be added

    Aha, and I want to add also: Black Hearts BG1 - The Huntress v1.01. It looks very interesting :).

    A lot to unpack. First things first:

    In general, when installing multiple mods, it matters which order you install them in. A rough guide is:

    GUI mods (on the Enhanced Edition)
    Mods which add new quests and similar game content
    Mods which add new joinable characters
    Mods which change the spell or item systems
    Mods which add new kits or class abilities
    Mods which tweak aspects of gameplay

    Next, more specifics:
    • Tajemnice Wybrzeża Mieczy - I would be wary of installing. From Lava, one of the developers: " You have TWM / Mysteries of the Sword Coast that hasn't been updated in years."
    • Sword Coast Stratagems - Latest version is 35.1 (released yesterday)
    • A few tweaks are absolutely essential in my games, including Item Revisions, Spell Revisions and Song & Silence. Additionally, I would strongly recommend SubtleDoctors' tweak mods, including his Spell Tweaks, Item Tweaks, Stat Overhaul, and Combat Skill Proficiencies.
    • In my humble opinion, you're missing out if you don't include some NPC mods. Finch, Valerie, Brandock, and Kale are some that I've played and add so much color and fun to the game.
    • You'll need something to keep all those extra XP and goodies in check from the mods; EET Tweaks include XP reducers, and Weiss Tweaks includes a tweak to pay gold to rest.

    Hello,

    In general, when installing multiple mods, it matters which order you install them in. A rough guide is:
    • GUI mods (on the Enhanced Edition)
    • Mods which add new quests and similar game content
    • Mods which add new joinable characters
    • Mods which change the spell or item systems
    • Mods which add new kits or class abilities
    • Mods which tweak aspects of gameplay
