NWN Question: Why are spells hurting / damaging the caster?

It's because one of three reasons:
1) You have the NWN Game Difficulty Option set to higher than "Normal"
2) You have your server settings set to Full PVP
3) You are in a Full PVP Area
If the reason is number 2, then you will need to start a new Internet / LAN game and setup your settings to ensure that PVP is not set to Full PVP, you just need to start the game, you don't have to play the module. This way when you play offline, it will be setup the way you want when you start games.
Just posting this for the new players who have this question, as I couldn't find this question online, or answered.
