Portraits Portraits Everywhere vs. The Picture Standard

Both mods that add pictures/portraits to NPC during dialogues. Both were released at about the same time, (i.e., in 2016.) Both serve the same purpose, but they are not compatible.

Which one is better? Why is it better?
