What do I do with Haks please, not sure how to install

I'm looking at the updated weapons HAKs.
I have put them in my HAK folder in game but I have no idea what to do next.
I am playing the single player official campaign. is there a guide please of how to get them to show?

Which weapon mods do you mean, exactly?

For a mod to show in the OC without tweaking, the normal approach is to add a bunch of files (not a hak) to the override folder in Documents. If a mod is designed to do that, NIT or Steam Workshop will do it automatically.

A hak is a container (similar to zip) which is normally used by module builders to add content in the toolset. You can do that in the toolset, or add it as a patch hak, but I'm guessing that's overkill.
