Please help. Can't run BGEE

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I just downloaded BGEE from Steam and can't get it to run. I get the following error message:

An error occurred while launching this game: disk write error - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\\Steamworks Shared.

Found a few old suggestions in this forum but they didnt help. I am trying to run it on an Acer laptop with Windows 10. I was really looking forward to playing this game again.

    Please disregard. I had to go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Baldur.exe" and run as Administer. Works perfectly now
