Character File Location

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi all. I've played through BG when it was first released so long ago. I prefer generation my own characters and deleting the premade ones. I cant seem to find the files for the premade characters. Can someone help me find them? I even tried searching such as 01FIGHT but there were no results.

    Character files you create go in the user folder; there's a folder for characters alongside the one for saves.

    Character files that come with the game are packed up in a BIF archive, and do not exist as separate files. You would need a tool such as Near Infinity to unpack them and make any changes.

    Thank you. They must have changed that with BGEE. I distinctly remember being able to delete them in the original version.
