Noticed explicit global variable

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
When I was looking for the chapter global variable in EEKeeper, I noticed this one:

BUTTPLUGGINGCUMBUBBLE with a value of 1

What is this?

    That's the variable tracking Yoshimo's betrayal.

    It's also not the only instance of dirty language hiding in the game files. As long as it never becomes directly visible to the player...

    (Obscenities in fantasy languages don't count. Viconia can be as foul-mouthed as she wants in drow, but "vith" is just a made-up word as far as any earthly language is concerned.)

    Eh, I remember first coming across this and thinking it must be a virus. XD

    I wonder whether there's a story behind it. Like some playtester was so appalled at Yoshimo's betrayal that he shouted something involving these obscenities at the monitor.
