Toughest battles I ever fought... ROT Icewind Dale quests

Is it just me, or is the Ice Temple quest and Great One quests from this mod the toughest fights ever??

I had a 6 party group decked out with badass equipment and everyone was level 18 or above, and we were still decimated. After 25 years playing this game, I was actually pleasantly surprised.

    IIRC there is a sidequest for the eye of a God somewhere - parhaos in chapter 6. That one is really tough as well.

    It should be “Region of Terror” (ROT). It was at least what I commented on.

    ROT is centered on Drizzt and his party. The mod requires you to have Drizzt in your party most of the time in BG2, and takes you to multiple places in search for his party.

    Yes, Region of Terror. Begins when you accompany an guy named Edomis Galdenburg at the City Gates to Icewind Dale. Be prepared for some crazy fights, and crazy items, very OP items, but given the fights, perhaps worth it.

    Also, I did not have Drizzt in my party, so for at least Icewind Dale quest, no need to have him.
