Skeketon Guard spell not working properly

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hi - just wondering if anyone might be able to help me solve this problem. When my mage casts this spell - I can hear the sound effects, but there is nothing visual. There are supposed to be 2 skeleton warriors summoned - but nothing. Just wondering what the issue might be -

    As this isn't a spell that exists in vanilla, you would likely get better feedback if you posted this in a forum/thread for the mod it came from.
