Sound Sets?

Don't know if this is the right place for this question? I'll add the qualifier I'm likely the most ignorant person to ever post in this section of the forum.
My question is, can I take all the character sound sets from BG, SoD, BG2 and IWD and make them all accessible across all four? I know it used to be possible to record your own, not that I have any interest in Dave trying to sound like a Warrior...
But it just leaves me thinking I should be able to move the existing sets?
On a related note, can the same be done with the NPC sets from the games that have them?
If someone can point me to a mod this does this, awesome. But I'm not [too] afraid of moving files around and renaming things if that's what's involved. Anything more than that makes me very nervous. Running a Weidu mod taxes the limits of my capabilities.

2.6 broke copy-paste soundsets, so WeiDU is the only option.
But between thinking the IWD voices are generally the better, and recently wanting to import Alora into SoD... and doing it except for her voice set... It just got me thinking.
These look like wonderful tools, a boon to the community. So thank you again.
