Cannot change Imoen's potrait no matter what

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
How guys,
I'm trying to change Imoen's potratit, but it doesn't work no matter work. I've downloaded a correct BMP (it appears as selectable during the character creation process) and put it into the Override folder and then the Portraits folder (under Documents) and tried various names, no help:
IMOEN.bmp, IMOENL.bmp, IMOENM.bmp, IMOENS.bmp, NIMOEN... (this is probably for BG2EE).
Can you help me there, please?

    So suddenly it started to work! I don't know why and which of the portraits did the trick, but maybe the game got scared of this forum and its magical powers.

    I think the IMOENL and IMOENM are the ones you want? I always change NPCs in EEKeeper.

    Imoen's portraits:
    Main BGEE campaign: IMOENM and IMOENL (her portrait appears at multiple scales, so multiple versions are used)
    Siege of Dragonspear: BDIMOENM and BDIMOENL. A new, more mage-like look there.
    BG2EE: NIMOENM and NIMOENL. Now with scars.

    There are of course mods out there that let you shuffle the portraits around.
