Icewind Dale II - mods for co-op multiplayer

Hello there!
I'm looking for mods that will work for co-op multiplayer. I'm planning to play classical campaign with friends on-line and I'm looking for mods that will solve bugs and/or make game harder (for example by tuning AI). In general, because of lack of mods for that game, I would kindly take any mod that maybe some of You can recommend that we can incorporate in our playthrough.
Unfortunately, unofficial enhanced edition is off the table because it works only for single player.
I was thinking about this: https://www.nexusmods.com/icewinddale2/mods/4?tab=posts&BH=0 however due to amount of changes it makes I'm afraid it might not work (maybe someone knows the answer?)
I was thinking as well about Tactics Mod (https://sorcerers.net/Games/IWD2/index_mods.php) from here. What do You think, can it work?
And in general, have someone here played ID II multiplayer with some mods and can recommend something? I know that because of lack of source code there is lack of mods as well and because of hex editing plenty of mods might not work online but if someone could recommend something, I would jump from joy!
