HoTU, tag based scripting and the EE versions missed opportunities

I seem to recall that TBS came in with the original HOTU and was used in those modules, but I took a quick look and that doesn't seem to be the case in the EE version of the game. Why was that changed ?

For that matter, why didn't the EE versions use the opportunity to fill out all the event scripts for all the campaign modules across all OC with the x2 versions and enable TBS? Seems like something that could have been done fairly

    I don't think anything has changed.

    Certainly, tag-based scripting still works in custom modules under EE.

    Yes, I'm aware it still works in custom modules, but the original HoTU shipped with it set up in that module. Doesn't appear to be in the EE version

    But, more than that, they released the EE versions and did a lot of great work. They could have taken the opportunity to update all the campaigns. Not even with X2 scripts but least put something in every event that we can override.

    Just seems like a missed opportunity.
