Creature Armour(IWD EE)

In NI or EE Keeper, how do you assign Armour Class to a humanoid or enemy character? In game you have BASE AC and EFFECTIVE AC via NI and EE Keeper, which appear to give humans 10 with DEX bonus only. How to you add Armour, Shield or Magical Protection Items to the data? When checking my Saves, my PCs only have their DEX bonus and AC 10 listed, even with Armour and Shields? It is confusing.
