Music cuts in and outs?

I haven't seen this posted yet...
Music will be playing properly, but then it sounds like half of the music channels become muted and the other half keep playing. Like listening to a half-downloaded .mp3 file or a corrupted version. It most commonly surfaces when going in/out of combat and will cut in and out during the entire song. It has happened with every song so far (including the menu music)
Any ideas? Thank you.
