Best way to defeat Belhifet -HOF-

This is a very easy way to defeat Belhifet...

-Before you enter the chamber, buff your party with protections, invisibility... and Contingencies: use minions and project image, simlacrum... whatever, and make them appear 'when you see an enemy' and 'on me'. They will appear even before the battle starts and will distract the Golems/etc. Cast Fear Inmunity. Cast Enchanted Weapon.
-Cast Shapechange spell (lvl9 arcane)
-Spell Inmunity: Abjuration before you enter the chamber. So all your buffs don't get dispelled. Enter...
-When battle starts, move the minions to distract the Golems and the demons; start casting Time Stop.
-Convert yourself into a Mind Flayer and devour Belhifet Brain; takes like 4 or 5 hits. Done.

The key is to cast Enchanted Weapon so your Mindflayer attacks are +3, so you can hit Belhifet.

Great achievement by clever use of high-level magic! 👏

Not so 'hero stuff', but yeah 😆 Minsc wouldn't be too proud... Anyway, you need high level spells for that, of course.

This is gold. I’ve played IWD since pre-HoW, and B’s magic immunity has always been a sore point for casters. I used to give my mage the boots of speed and run it around the circle endlessly to distract the minions, as it lacked anything much useful to do.

Ye... IWD1 original is very rough with mages. Starting with the lack of scrolls...
