NearInfinity broke EEKeeper

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Okay so I need a little help here. I use EEKeeper to tinker with things and mess up builds for giggles, but I wanted to tweak gear and found my way to NearInfinity. I tried it out, it was meh couldn't really make heads or tails of it so I got rid of it. Well, now EEKeeper won't let me put on characters. I can adjust stats but gear won't save and it keeps putting ? in the character profile picture on EEKeeper. I even tried just putting basic armor and weapons on the characters, it won't save over.
Anyone able to help me figure out how to be able to get my gear tinkering back in order?
