Two-handed style and bows?

I can't find an answer to this anywhere, and I'm frankly most familiar with vanilla BG1, not BG2isms.

Do you get the speed factor/critical threat from Two-Handed Style when using Shortbows, Longbows, and Crossbows? I seem to recall reading you get such bonuses from Single-Weapon Style if using a Sling without a shield..

Alrighty if anyone else is wondering Volothamp's comeuppance is actually pretty clear about it, I assume it's right since it's the most well-researched guide I'm aware of. It claims all the styles only apply to melee weapons.
