Spell icon size

RiccoRicco Member Posts: 4
Hello,

Former BG player for 20 years, I returned to this game on the enhanced versions.
I encountered a problem displaying certain spell icons (dispel magic and dispel invisibility for example) which are white and practically unreadable on my screen.
I installed the Lefreut UI mod but that didn't solve the problem.
I found a mod online:
https://github.com/Renegade0/RemasteredSpellIcons/releases
Which displays better quality icons but a little big.
I modified the mod files for display in the profane and divine spell book (modification area 0 0 36 36) but I cannot find the line to change for display on the game screen (launch bar )
Which line in the UI MENU file or else should I change to reduce the size of the BAMS inside the boxes
Thanking you in advance

Ricco

Icon sizes inside actionbar are hardcoded. You can only reduced the size of the actual bams in editors such as Near Infinity.

    Good morning,
thank you for the answer but I do not want to reduce the size of the boxes but that of the BAMs inside them.
I thought there was the possibility of defining a size in a ui menu file by adding a line of "code" (area x.x.x x) as I was able to do for the icons of the spell book of the priest and the mage.

As I said, it is not possible for the actionbar. You can achieve it only by reducing size of the spell icons themselves.

yes that's what I want to do: reduce the size of the icons. How can I do it?

By editing the resource files of the icons (bam files) in editor such as Near Infinity. You can open the file there and apply effect for reducing size and save it. There are hundreds of them though, I was using custom automation scripts to create these.
