In your experience, what is the class that offers the most balanced gameplay experience between power and micromanagement? In other words, what class has the most smoother gameplay and why?

Berserker and Dwarven Defender are powerful, simple to manage and can fight long time on autopilot with improved AI commands: "Use special abilities", "Use items" and "Attack enemies". 😎

Cavalier and Undead Hunter are pretty easy to manage. Good survivability with their save bonuses and immunity. I prefer Cavalier myself for the extra elemental resistance and nice bonus to damage for dragons and fiends. The loss of ranged weapons doesn't apply to throwing axes or daggers either, so there isn't much downside at all.

Seconding Dwarven Defender. You have the highest HP, can wear heavy armor, you get passive damage reduction, , shorty saves, and the one button the class has is better than a HLA and massively increases your damage reduction and improves your saves even more, it lasts a good while, is available at level 1, you get a second activation pretty quickly at level 4, and you can get a third within the XP cap of TotSC so you don't have to feel shy about using it in battle.

It's not an "I win" class since the game does very much try to kill you no matter what you pick, but if you want to make it through with minimal reloads, Dwarven Defender is probably it.
