New Steam BG/BG2/ID/PT installs won't launch [SOLVED]

Nevermind! I just saw the note about the OpenAL issue and ran the installer, and that's fixed it.


Newly purchased D&D Steam bundle:

Baldur's Gate EE 2.6.6.0
Baldur's Gate II EE 2.6.6.0
Icewind Dale EE 2.6.6.0
Planescape Torment EE 0.1.0.0

on:

Windows 11 Pro 23H2
AMD 78003XD
RTX 4070
64 GB RAM
4 TB SSD

New installs, no mods, installations verified.

Windows Defender only. Verizon FiOS internet. VPN on/off makes no difference.

The installs launch and close. What's my next step?
