Multiplayer doesn't work at all with 3 people

Whenever I tried to play with 3 or more people, some people can't see each other moving. The host can see everything fine, but the other 2 players see each other standing still on their screen.
Has anybody found a work around for this? I've looked on the forums but the responses tend to be himachi, port forward ect which won't work.
Or is there any ETA on when the multiplier will be at all playable? it's a little disappointing to finally get the game only to have a further wait to make it playable! For now we've started playing BG1 TUTU as it seems to be superior to this release so far
