I have been doing this these days: upgrading some old BGT era mods to EET standards—— As I am a Chinese player and these mods also come from Chinese community forums, they only have Chinese language versions.

You can actually buy alcohol from the original game. A new NPC will collecting these alcohols and run through the entire *trilogy*. Go and empty the wine cellar of every tavern!
