Trouble importing character into Icewind dale on Android

Last year I was having trouble importing the character into the mobile version of Baldur's Gate 1 from my PC. And I was totally unable to import or export any saves. However I was able to accomplish importing my character somehow I believe I got it in through the obb folder. I'm not entirely sure how I did it. However now I'm trying to import a character into icewind Dale and I'm having similar issues and was wondering if anyone had any solutions or if any reliable workarounds have been found. When I open up the file explorer and go to PC >phone> internal storage >Android > data> icewinddale I get
a files folder that is empty.
