Voice of Durdel Anatha does not appear?

I'm playing Icewind Dale Complete (not EE) and I seem to be finding all the bugs of the game or something. Not game-ruining bugs, but still... I'm seeing now how necessary was the EE for this game 🤣

Maybe I did something wrong but tbh I don't get it.

I mean, this is a side non-important quest but... He simply won't appear. Yes, I found him some times in the main Dorn cavern, I 'killed' it but when I entered the other zones, he was not re-spawning. Yes, the 'Again?, Again?' thing. So ofc he is not spawning in the Temple. Nothing.

It is a weird and maybe 'pointless' quest anyway, but I was able to complete it without problems in the EE.

    The Voice quest is a restored quest. It was intended and components were there in IWD pre-EE, but it was not finished. So in your game, you cannot get the Glory of Suffering, and the Voice is nothing but an annoying attacker.

    The Auril's Bane and UB mods restore it.

    Also of note: obtaining Pale Justice pre-EE does not require completing any quest first.
