Mods for IWD in IWD in EET?

gentlebimgentlebim Member Posts: 26
The title is worded oddly, but essentially, I want to know if I can install some pretty cool IWD mods I have in a BG2 EE game running IWD in EET? Not sure if this is a thing or not, but I thought I'd ask considering I only discovered that IWD in EET was a thing about 3 weeks ago.

    I don‘t think so, because the WeiDU installer will for sure complain about the wrong game, since IWD in EET is considered to be a Mod and not a game itself. It‘s as if you would try to install an IWD Mod on BG2.

    Bummer, but it makes sense. I had to ask, though! Discovering EET and then discovering IWD in EET was like early Christmas. So I was crossing my fingers someone figured out some kind of mysterious modding way to do it. LOL. Thanks!

    There is also Icewind Dale 2 in EET and Trials of the Luremaster for Baldurs Gate.

    ...and if that's not enough, you could also put a Neverwinter Nights adaption into your BG2 Setup:

    Have fun :)

    Ho-LEE shit! Thank you so much! I thought Trials would have been in IWD in EET. I have IWD2 in EET installed already. I will also be putting NWN in there, too.
    I hope I can install them after other things have been installed because I'm in chapter 3 of BGEE, already. My ultimate goal is to have the most ginormous Forgotten Realms world to just explore.
    AGain, this is the coolest. Thanks!

    Trials was first as a stand alone, so they didn't put it into the conversion.

    There is also a HoW-only Mod, but you don't need that and it's outdated.

    You want to install IWD in EET first and pretty early in your setup, then IWD2 in EET, then all other Mods, followed by IWD_EET, and then trials. But you need to set'em up before you do EET_End, so I'm not sure if it works if you install it for an ongoing Run. If I was you, I would do a new setup from scratch and restart.

    There is also the option to play IWD as single campaigns via this Mod:

    You should also consider tweaking the XP so that you don't level up and reach max Lvl too fast;

    On big Mod Setups I usually do 50% Quest XP / 25% Enemies.
