Easy let down.

I'm about to start a new saga run in a couple weeks and I have a question.

Is there an easy let down for Aerie and Jaheira?

Seriously, I normally plan on using a female PC when I don't want a romance path. But I've got a run coming with a male character, Good aligned. I'd like to include one or both of those ladies, but I hate the idea of having to be a jerk to shut them down.

Any thoughts? I'm open to a mod.

I can answer my own question! There is an option in CDTweaks to shut off the romances. I know I’ll want them on again eventually, but at least for my next run it will be nice to not worry about.

if memory serves.. removing a romance partner from the party will kill the romance. Kind of meta-ish way to do it, but there you go.

Also.. I don't think the dialogue choices i had in my last run when i had to choose between the two was a jerks dialogue when i chose Aerie

Yeah I’m usually happy with how that plays out. I’m just setting up a run with two created characters, a couple, with the guy as the Bhaalspawn. I wanted the freedom to recruit those two without “starting something”. I had totally forgotten there a toggle for that in Tweaks.
