Baldurs Gate: The Black Hound from the Beamdog

I 've heard 80% of the game was completed.If there is still a working version of the game, then what's stopping Beamdog from finishing it? It is unlikely that there will be problems with the rights to the D&D universe. It is now more than possible to come to an agreement with Wizards of the Coast. I hope this idea reaches someone from Beamdog. One can only hope that a working version of the game still exists. If Beamdog doesn't take on this project, then we - the fans - could do it.
