Spotting loot

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
This is a classic game, which has withstood the test of time pretty well. There is, however, one thing I do find a bit tedious. After a battle, I have to enlarge the room and then painstakingly move the cursor across the floor, looking for those teeny, tiny circles that indicate one or more lootable objects. It would be nice if such items could be highlighted somehow, but I have checked out the various graphics options and I don't see any such setting. Am I overlooking something?

    The tab key should highlight all lootable objects.

    Ah! OK thanks a lot; I don't recall ever reading that anywhere. I'll try it next foray. I appreciate the fast response.

    That suggestion was AWESOME! Not only does hitting Tab key reveal lootable items, it also identifies everyone in the visible area. I used to have to mouse over every enemy on the map to see who and what they were ... this would take several seconds per foe to work ... and this lets me see them right away. Makes it a lot easier to plan tactics. I can't believe I slogged through all of Shadows of Ahm not knowing about this. Thank you ever so much!
