How much Quest XP do i decrease

I did a discussion like this some time ago, that i was gonna do a modded playthrough of BGEE (Without EET and SoD), and i wanted to know the percentage that i had to decrease to make it balanced. But the answers that i got didn't help me that much. And after some revaluation (And a new quest mod addition), i wanted to ask the aproximate decrease. The lockpicking, scrolls and traps are at BG1 value and the monsters XP are untouched (I want their XP to be like to the Monstrous Manual). The Quest and NPC mods that i have are the following:

- BG1NPC Project (No romance)
- Unfinished business
- Balduran's Seatower (The original, not the stolen one)
- Baldur's Gate Mini Quests and Encounters
- Shades of the Sword Coast
- The Lure of the Sirine's Call
- Northern Tales of the Sword Coast (With the miniquests but without the NPCs)
- The Calling
- Loretakers

If there's someone who had a mod list like this and told me the exact percentage, he would be a lifesaver.

Frankly, the quest XP does not matter if you leave the monster XP as they are. You receive ten times more (or even more) XP from monsters than from quests.

But for example if i was gonna decrease the 50% or 45% of the quest xp, am i gonna still be op during the rest of the game? That's my only concern, the balancing.

You may reduce the quest XP to 25%, but you will early hit the 200k XP playing the mods mentioned above just because of the XP of the killed monsters.
Anyhow, if you stay with the XP limit there is no problem with balancing because you stay limited. Then it is more a questions of equipment. But the op equipment is provided by others mods so I guess it will work out.

But that's by grinding or not? If it's not, then what mods do you suggest deleting?

You don't need grinding to hit the XP cap in BGEE even without mods.
Best way to reduce XP gains is to reduce XP for the kills. The P&P values was no meant for a video games with so much fights in mind.

It depends on a lot of factors. Do you install the older, unbalanced quest mods or only the smaller, newer ones? Do you install a mod that brings new party members up to your level upon joining? Do you swap out NPCs or stick to one team? I tend to rotate through a lot per playthrough, so I only reduce XP to 75% myself, and I don't mind that that means Charname slowly gets ahead of everyone else seeing as that somehow fits the story.

Northern Tales provides a lot of XP by fighting a lot opponents. SotSC has a few dungeons with quite a lot of XP (Ulcaster und the one with basilisks).
But my personal opinion: Play all these mods because it is fun. And add SCS which makes the game a lot tougher and balance is restored (and if it is too difficult: the difficulty slider really matters in this mod, you can adjust it to your comfort). And you can walk around with a party with 300k XP and fights are not getting boring (at least if spellcasters are involved). Or simply don't rest that often.

There are many ways to have fun with the game. Just find a way that suits you ;)

75% of quests or 75% of monsters?
