Yes, I'm doing it again! This time, I have a cleric/mage with his devoted bodyguard, a single class fighter.

    Well, I guess you do have the main character classes covered. But ... are you going to do a playthrough with ONLY these two characters. or will you use others on occasion as the need arises? Who will you use as a thief? Are you totally going to ignore all the NPC side quests that give you a crapton of experience? Neera, Naliya, Haer D'Alis, Jaheira, Dorn, Keldorn, Anomen etc. etc. all have significant personal goals to pursue. Among other things, you won't be able to even enter the Planar Sphere on your own. And where are you starting from? BG1? SoA? ToB?

    Oh no, I always run with a full party. Currently that includes Jaheira, Minsc, Imoen and Alora.

    Seriously, I’d run with 8 or 9 if the game allowed.

    Ah, OK that makes a lot more sense. Your initial statement sounded quite the opposite.
