Resolution Fix - IOS Devices

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
After doing some googling it looks like there is no solution to the resolution not being full screen on some IOS devices like the iPad mini.

Is it expected that we won't see any future patches for this? It seems the issue has been known about for several years now.

Having black bars on the sides of the screen is quite annoying since other versions (Android) do not have the same problem.
