EET - Hud Disappears 3x (not an 'H' issue)

I have EET installed, and I don't know what I did, but recently, I have been noticing that any time I go to the Character Screen (i.e. to do a Level Up), and I come back to the game, the HUD disappears, and re-appears 3x.

In this time, I cannot access my party members, and have them do anything, I have to wait until the flashing finishes.. so if I am in an active fight, I can't do anything.. and I cannot pause the game.
Its like, a matter of seconds.
It doesn't take long, but still a nuisance.. I make sure that my game is already paused before going to the character screen for anything.

Any suggestions/solutions?

    So, it appears that there is some conflict with using the letter 'K'.. which is what I had Character Information bound to.. I changed the binding, and then pressed K on its own, and the same happened.. my HUD flashed 3x.. so, not sure what's up there.. but something
